BioI am an elementary school counselor and writer. I've been freelancing for 15 years, and have been published online, regionally and nationally, as well as having two books published in the educational market. I'm married with one daughter. I also enjoy singing and performing in shows.
Right now, I'm working on a Christian chick lit novel and a nonfiction book, and I just officially became an agented writer! I met an agent at a writers' conference in May, she asked for a proposal and it led to a contract. I'm a very happy writer at the moment!
One of the best things about writers' conferences is that you get a chance to connect with other writers and talk about things that fascinate writers but bore other people. One of the reasons I'm looking forward to this class is that it will give me the opportunity to do just that!
